Maximum

The maximum function operates on two subfunctions. It provides as the result the biggest value of the two subfunctions.

Syntax: $UF=max( UF_1, UF_2 )$

Examples:

• $fun(x, max( 0, 12 ), Obj)$; will return $12$
• $fun(x, max( add( -2, 7 ), 4 ), Obj)$; because $add( -2, 7 )= -2+7 = 5$, $5$ will be returned
